"Utopia"

Utopia was born from the encounter of María Pagés and the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer that led to the beginning of a collaboration between architecture and its universe and flamenco dance and choreography.

"An ode to time"

An ode to time is a flamenco choreography about contemporaneity and the required dialogue with the memory. From the Flamenco María Pagés raises an ethical and artistic reflection on the present. She wonders about what is going on in the world. Checks the light and the disturbing shadows that mark our time. Reflects on the effects of the relentless irreversibility of time on the body, desire art and life.

"I, Carmen"

I, Carmen is not a review of the famous character, it is not a version of the so often adapted work of Merimée. No. Maria Pagés's work is a woman's voice that rises before us, clear and forceful, to express the reality that confronts, builds and develops the feminine soul. It wants to be the voice of all women, without subterfuge, without inherited folds, without fears or connotations built by the male gaze.

"Faces"

„Faces“ (Rostros) - This new creation of María Pagés Company, whose title is Rostros (Faces), invoking the singularity of the plural, is part of a syncretic and open dialogue that establishes tradition and modernity. As in all the works of the Spanish director María Pagés, her creative sensibility fuses, through choreography, flamenco music and dramaturgy, the enormous diversity and richness of Spanish culture. It is, of course, a wisdom and cultural knowledge that come out from her particular patrimonial essence, as paradigms that catalyse freedom and the universal.
