You might have heard of ChatGPT in recent weeks – in fact, you may even be among the 1 million people who started experimenting with it soon after its launch. ChatGPT is a chatbot launched by artificial intelligence company OpenAI. The system was originally created to provide support for online customer service, but the Artificial Intelligence (AI) behind this program has exceeded all expectations, becoming highly popular.

What is ChatGPT? Well, we decided to ask it directly!

The DesignEuropa Awards celebrate excellence in design and design management among holders of Registered Community Designs (RCDs). Organised every two years by the EUIPO, the awards are divided into three categories:

A recent case brought back to our attention the importance of understanding the reach of protection granted to marks with a reputation in EU law. The trade mark in question here was undoubtedly one of the most famous brands worldwide: Google.

Infringement of intellectual property rights (IPR) is a major risk for the profitability and survival of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), according to a joint report by the EUIPO, through the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

To avoid unfair and misleading labels, IFOAM Organics Europe and the French Association of IFOAM Members have brought legal action before the Paris Court of Justice. The organic movements request the termination of the use of environmental labelling of food products that is considered unfair to organic production and deceptive for consumers.
