Under the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union Council (EU) since January 1st, INPI will host online, on February 11th, a High-Level Conference on Industrial Property and Digital Transition entitled “The Intellectual Property metamorphosis in the Age of Digital Transition”, under the aegis of "Remembering the Past, acting in the Present and reflecting upon Future challenges "
This Conference aims to reflect on the importance of Intellectual Property (IP) in the European context, by discussing themes related to IP and by focusing on the necessity to accelerate digital transition due to its strong impulse for economic recovery and promoting of digital transformation in companies.
More then ever it is important to reflect on the importance of the digital as an aggregating factor for opportunities and for bringing together citizens and services, surpassing constraints resulting from geographical distance and also resulting from the present pandemic situation we are living on.
