Dia Mantova

Bio

Actress by profession, formed under the leadership of professor Krikor Azaryan, Dia Mantova’s mission portfolio is much richer. She studied fine arts with the artist Garo Muradyan and graduated from a textile and fashion design high school.

Her debut on professional stage was as early as in her university years in Vazkresia Viharova’s Amarantos. Next followed a series of contemporary, innovative, own and improvisational projects, some of them touring Europe and Asia with the pantomime and slapstick group of Zhar Theatre, and joint performances and workshops with artists from across the world.

We see Dia in films and TV productions, musical and advertising videos. She anchors events, records voice-over in films and reads audio books. She has launched her own acting school but is also an entrepreneur beyond this profession in the fields of psychology and charity. Fine art has a special place among her talents – Right of Me (2019) was her first solo exhibition and the second, Klozapin (2021) confirmed the conceptual essence of her works.

She has written her first piece of dramaturgy as well, Active Substance, which she performs as a one-man show on the Derida stage of contemporary art.

Dia has the look of a free artist, airily floating through cinema, theatre, conceptual art, performance. And she is a lover and consumer of contemporary art who wants to infect the young audience with her curiosity and energy by creating her own podcast.

Next year we will have the chance to see her in young, independent artists’ performances based on Shakespeare and Tarantino.

Dia Mantova – freedom, love, connectivity and absolute devotion.
